Our Team Members
Andrej Kajzer
Since childhood, the founder of the Wood and Nature Foundation – Andrej Kajzer, explored his father’s carpentry workshop and actively assisted with various tasks. His passion for woodworking led him to pursue education at a specialized woodworking high school. With an affinity for technical challenges, Andrej also developed a keen interest in mechanical engineering.
His inherent curiosity about how things work and a strong sense of depth enable him to navigate and find solutions to diverse situations. His leadership qualities shine through in guiding the Wood and Nature Foundation toward its mission of promoting holistic practices, sustainable wood use, and appreciation for wood craftsmanship.
Domen Babnik
Domen Babnik, a dedicated environmentalist and wood enthusiast, brings a wealth of experience to the Wood and Nature Foundation. After studying forestry and environmental science at university, Domen embarked on a career focused on sustainable forest management and conservation. He has worked closely with local communities to implement eco-friendly practices and promote the importance of preserving natural habitats.
As a member of the foundation, Domen leads initiatives to raise awareness about responsible wood use and advocates for reforestation projects.
